Cala Jondal

This conservation area of natural beauty has to be one of the last outposts of paradise. Overlooked only by a few exquisitely architected homes high up on the surrounding green hills, the wide deep beach is dotted here and there with the shade of pines trees before it slopes gently to the glittering, crystal clear waters.

Can Ventosa

Can Ventosa is the centre of the cultural activity in Ibiza city. It is located in the city centre and it is run by the local council. It not only regularly puts on plays, concerts, monologues, conferences, etc., but it is also a forum for debate, study and discussion of any topic. It has fully-equipped offices. The hall seats 400 people. Performances usually begin at 9.30pm. On Saturdays and Sundays they have sessions for children from 9am to 1.30pm.

Playa de Figueretas

A well made central beach, divided into smaller parts sits in front of apartment blocks and hotels, and is bordered by a palm fringed promenade which extends along back towards Ibiza to the left and Playa d'en Bossa to the right.

Playa de Las Salinas

Named after the salt lakes in the south of Ibiza, the beach at Las Salinas is the southern most tip of the island. The very long, wide crescent of sandy beach is bordered by pines. Waters are crystal clear with super breakers that appear on windy days, perfect for body-surfing. Good for adventure walks as the surrounding terrain is Ibiza's Wildlife Conservation Area.

Playa Es Cavallet

Official Nude Bathing Beach. Wild and natural, backed by sand dunes and a little green belt of shade and hills. Large breaking waves when the east wind blows near the sandy shoreline. Popular with windsurfers when the wind blows. Rolling dunes and a very broad sandy beach are perfect for beach strolls. Throughout the summer months, these sandy dunes are a much-loved meeting point for homosexuals. With disco-music and cocktails, the party feeling continues here the whole day long.

Talamanca

Secluded bay with shallow water, well sheltered from de wind. Only a few trees, bring protection against the sun. Plenty of possibllities for practising watersports or other activities. Public transport such as taxis, busses and taxi- shuttle boat available.
